Still waiting to fight the Red Devil

Here's another shot from the same fire I had posted a few weeks ago. Notice that the hose still does not have any water in it and the structure behind the crew is starting to burn as well. Sometimes water isn't forthcoming at the scene for any number of reasons. The heat from the main fire is being radiated and other combustibles close by heat up very quickly. You know the man on the nozzle feels like he's going to burst into flame any minute too.

O.K., now I remember it. I think I like this more recent one a lot better, but that red/orange color is just amazing!!
